FAQ

What can I expect to find at Wood Wire & Whimsy?

We are a family and furbaby owned multi-vendor Vintage Market
providing a wide variety of refinished and repurposed furniture and
home decor along with specially curated handmade items beautifully
created by local artisans. You can also expect to receive a warm,
welcoming greeting (maybe even a big ol’ hug if you’re okay with
that), a cup of coffee from a really cute, hand-selected mug, and
always a positive word and encouragement to be kind to others.
Afterall, like we always say ~ Be the change that you wish to see in
the world and, with us, it all starts here!

What are your operating days and times?

We are open the second and fourth weekend of each month on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 6pm. If you’re wondering
why we are only open during these times, we understand that there are other establishments like ourselves in the area and wish not to compete but only to support their love, like ours, for the refinishing and repurposing of all things vintage. Plus, let’s face it ~ beauty takes
time and we will need time to create and restock these beautiful pieces for your future visits!

How can I continue to receive updates on what my peeps at Wood Wire & Whimsy are up to?

You can (and we would LOVE for you to) sign up to be on our email list, or if you’re a little email-shy, check us out on Facebook at Wood Wire & Whimsy or on Instagram at WoodWireAndWhimsy.

What if my eye catches an amazing larger piece that I just have to have but can’t carry around with me in the Market?

Easy! Just bring the tag associated with the item to us whenever
you’re ready to check out. We will also have a holding area for items
that aren’t so easy to carry around as well.

How long do I have to pick up my awesome new larger purchases?

We currently offer three days (72 hours) to retrieve your larger purchases and unfortunately, given our space limitations, we are
unable to hold them any longer than that without an additional storage fee to be assessed daily after the 72 hour hold. The storage
fees will be calculated as follows:
Day 4 = $25.00
Day 5 = $35.00
Day 6 = $45.00
FINAL Day 7 = $55.00
If your item is not picked up by Day 7, we will sadly be forced to
return the item to our sales floor for someone else’s enjoyment.

What is your return policy?

Unfortunately, all sales are final and we will not be able to honor any returns.

Do you ship?

No, we have not established a shipping policy at this time but
don’t let that sway you! Give us a chat and we will try our best to work
something out, if at all possible.

How do I come to be a member of the Wood Wire & Whimsy family and become one of your really cool vendors?

Definitely give us a shout! We are always looking to expand the family and our hope is to include as many local creators as we
possibly can! You can email us at info@woodwireandwhimsy.com, send a message through Facebook or Instagram, give us a call at
443.295.8811, or even better, stop by & check us out, and ask for Kim.
If you can’t already hear me when you walk into the Market, you will certainly be able to find me! Prior to contacting us though, please
have a portfolio (pictures, a website or any other form of displaying your creations) available for review by our management team. Please
note though that while we appreciate others in their respected professions, we do not wish to present our business with a “flea market” or “yard sale” type vibe and therefore will be politely selective in accepting other creators/vendors as renters within the Market.

What do I do if the man in my life tells me I can’t come shopping with you?

Fear not! The man in your life will have no problem letting you go and will even be excited to come with you on your shopping excursions here because we will also offer a “Men’s Hangout” space complete with comfortable seating, corn hole, a specialized checker board game, a golf practice tee, and more.
